How do i get the bacteria out of my sons' yogurt? - will heating yogurt kill the bacteria

Hello, a neighbor told me that no bacteria in yogurt, and yes, I fed my son Yogurt years and is one of his favorite snacks. But she said there are bacteria in it. This is a sure way to kill bacteria in food favorite of my children? I have tried to spray Lysol into the cup yesterday, but perhaps you could hurt it heat? Other Ideas
